This grave marker which is at St. Joseph’s Cemetery,
located at
179 Hackensack Avenue, Hackensack, New Jersey reveals that Michael J. Gordon served in the United States Army during World War II and died at the age of 74.
Michael J. Gordon was not on the Original Wall Unit List, but this confirms his connection to Hackensack by being buried within its borders since passing and forevermore.
I will note that there is a “James” Gordon on the Original Wall Unit list which could have been the name he went by in high school because his middle entail is “J”. I have no way of knowing at the present time though, if there is any connection at all.
